Governor Napolitano is the Democratic "kingmaker"

Whichever, Presidential Aspirant for 2008 Sweepstakes, Governor Janet Napolitano (D-AZ) will become the kingmaker.

Take, for example, Governor Richardson with his wide-ranging resume would be teaming up with a V/P nominee that attracts considerable support from Independents, and has the "skill set" to get Republican women to cross the aisle and vote for a Democrat.  And this she can easily do and has given her proven track record as Arizona's former Attorney General and two-terms as the sitting Governor.

As for Senator Hillary Clinton, a ticket with both Clinton and Napolitano, would be awesome, that is an understatement.

With Edwards and Napolitano, both are pretty much up to snuff on the important issues, children, homemakers, immigration, the Iraq War and Hispanics.

So, consider this a "first" for Mydd.com and a "first" for bloggers.  Now, if I were a journalist positing these three differing political tickets, I would be assured of winning a Pulitzer for my being a self-anoited "expert" and prescient in all things political.

Of course, this is just another Thought From Indian Country or the Sonoran Desert.

Don't think so... (none / 0)

she is in the same state and region as McCain. So, if he wins the nomination, we won't even be able to count on Napolitano for her home state.

If Richardson wins the nomination and McCain does not then this would be a great move. Aside from taking New Mexico (5) and Arizona (10) easily, it'd make Nevada (5) and Colorado (9) very competitive.

For Sen. Clinton I think it'd be an awful idea. The country is not ready. Let's elect a female president first, before trying to run the table.

Edwards and Napolitano's style are completely different. Hard to say what he'd be looking for before the primary starts, since he's indicated that he intends to run a completely different campaign.

Napolitano + .... (none / 0)

Richardson - non-starter - both from the same region

Clinton - non-starter - TWO women?  no way

Edwards - very intruiging

Warner - maybe a winner

Gore - again, possibly very strong

Obama - non-starter - woman + black guy - really doubt that

Democratic "kingmaker" (none / 0)

Would she be able to overcome Republican accusations of lesbianism?  She's never been married and the freepers would have attack and suggest things, even if not true.
